Sorry - London specific)

Anyone else seen the dot matrix speed signs coming down the hill in Hyde Park? WTF is that all about? For starters, what the hell is a "safe" speed, and secondly - the devil in me just wants to trigger it every time

It's just a hill. Get over it.

Does it show your speed? If so it's a challenge surely.
  • Yep, on a bike lane the royal parks for peds into with Winterwonderland and concerts and has the markings painted in varying directions indicating to some that you might need stay right.

Sadly, all the fat middle eastern kids on boris bikes weaving all over it are now heading home so removing some of the challenge.
If I know you, and I like you, you can borrow my bike box for £30 a week. PM for details.

You forgot to mention that they are usually looking at their phones at the same time

Suggest adding a whiteboard below with pen to create a leaderboard.

On my commute home (not london I hasten to add) the biggest cyling danger is yoofs doing no handers fiddling with their phones.
    Insert bike here:

Sadly it doesn't display speed - just a happy / sad face. Shame, really.

Maybe it's a grimmace warning sign, not a speed one?
