Norco Charger/ On-One Parkwood - don't tell the wife..

Had some great advice from a couple of members already, so cheekily thought I'd ask another question and throw myself at the mercy of the community once more. As long as the wife doesn't find out, I may be able to get to £700 for a new MTB. I will be climbing a fair bit as well as some fast downhill (I'm lucky enough to live in North Wales, you're either going up or down a hill at any given time)

Never heard of On-One, but the Parkwood 29 looks to be a decent bike. Anyone got experience of the brand?

Spotted this Norco on Evans website, never heard of them but they seem like a decent bike. Anyone know whether they're good kit?

That is a nice bike and I would love to say yes. But those I've looked at so far have 12mth's free credit, which is part of the appeal too. Really grateful to you though, I'm sure it will find a new home pretty quickly at that price.

It was on offer for £599 from Evans Cycles. Seemed like a good deal. I'll post something after a couple of rides and let you know how this mid 40's buffoon is getting along.
