Morning folks,
Body clock is very confused, traditional Thursday hangover on a Wednesday has thrown things considerably. The after effects of the ruby on top of that mean sharing an office with me is something best avoided. As anticipated the long suffering didn't appreciate my condition, I vaguely recall a conversation in the middle of the night about air quality so bad it woke her. No idea what caused that.
Now sat at my desk stealing myself for the day ahead. Being Wednesday the pub is calling for later, and just to confuse things it will be calling on Thursday as well. I'm getting some practice in for the Christmas drinking season.

We made reference to that in yesterdays thread - maybe coincidentally at the same time as the conversation you refer to.
Me being lazy me but parcel person was running very late yesterday so I missed him and so have re-arranged delivery. That means that sitting here will not be justified by the EPO as there are household chores to do. Alas.
BR is not really a constructive manifestation of procrastination.

Back to working from home for 3 days a week from Monday for the next couple of months to deal with daughter more effectively. Hopefully it will be long enough to get things back on track, if not might have to move out of sales permanently which could be a blessing in some ways.
Did notice the comments yesterday thanks Piña but didn't manage to reply. Seems to have taken several steps backwards at the moment due to the pressure she is putting on herself over keeping up with GCSE coursework. The school, us and the doctors are telling her not to worry but she keeps overthinking things.0 -
Hard for her not overthink about it all I imagine. How it all plays out sooner rather than later
I didn't go to the pub, and nor will I go this evening or tomorrow. May get out on the bike this week, unlikely though.
Wiggle package arrived big hole in the box, everything there including the Haribo so meh
Glad Pinno knows where the chore items are, better man than me. Though I did buy the Date a vacuum cleaner at the weekend.
On wards to lunch, may go get some chocolate too0 -

The day didn't start to well for me having to locate and pick up dog turd from the back garden as Muttley parked his dinner too quickly for Strifey to see where he'd done it  Got better when I pedalled to work and consumed lots of coffee then food.
Other than that, another day on the corporate hamster wheel."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Today, empty roads, no wind, 27c warm.
Had to go to the supermarket and the wine was discounted by 70%, fruit and veg by 50%, and they sent us a 10% discount code which they allowed us to use on top of all other discounts!
97.74€ discounted from bill, 88.36 to paymy isetta is a 300cc bike0 -
Liar.
A) There is no way you would fit £188 euro's worth of shopping in an Isetta.
There is no way you would fit £188 euro's worth of shopping in a Peugeot 106 (unless the lovely Mrs T was duct taped to the roof to make use of the passenger seat).
C) The Swiss miss hasn't got a wicker basket yet. There is no way you would fit £188 euro's worth of shopping in a wicker basket mounted to a bicycle.
So what's going on - sun stroke? Alcoholic poisoning?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
