Hey guys,

I`m doing some research for a blog article and could use some input from you - what are your top 3-5 GoPro accessories for (mountain)biking? and why?

Would be great to see what the most used accessories are...

Thanks
Ivar

So it doesn't break and it stays where it's supposed to.

    Times used - 2.
You soon realise that unless you ride like a pro or somewhere unique, no-one wants to watch you pootling around.

I only record my rides for something to watch whilst I'm on the turbo - in the cold winter. Some nice sunny days to kid me I'm still in Summer.

As has been said - nobodys interested unless theres a huge crash or something happens or you ride awesomely. (most of us don't)

Multiple angles and cameras help make it more interesting but then you're spending more time editing than riding.

With most people's gnarly exciting videos, I wish it was the off button.

The box that it came in. After a few months regular use, like most people, I realised my videos are boring because I can't ride like Sam Reynolds.
Must remember to put it on eBay.

Head mounted usually gives the most stable view and usually points at something at least moderately interesting.

TBH i mainly use my gopro clone on family holidays round swimming pools, lakes etc to take photos and short vids where taking my iPhone would risk damage. So waterproof case is a big requirement.

Most people buy one, use it every ride for a few weeks, realise that 99% of their video is boring, realise that no one wants to watch it and then never use it again.
  • Mine still gets used snowboarding - especially now my daughter can ski, so we can record our races to the bottom of the mountain.

Who doesn't love a good 3 way? I wouldn't have thought a go pro is the best camera for filming nocturnal activities though.
