Hi. I need to replace my bottom bracket on a 2008 (probably) Specialised stumpjumper. It's a hollowtech marked "Mountain FI (F1?) Do not disassemble".

I can't find anything with the same markings anywhere. Anyone know what I can replace it with?

Cheers

I think it's a standard Shimano Hollowtech II BB.
Can you put a photo up to help with identification?

    Cheers for your reply!

I've no easy access to a camera at the moment. But someone at Chainreaction got back to me to say it's a M770/SLX M660, or at least, that's a compatible replacement. How much do they differ in reality?

All HT2 (Hollowtech is for crank arms and not BB's) BB's are interchangeable, the higher end are lighter and/or have better bearings (well better protected). SLX and XT are basically the same while Saint and XTR likewise (except later XTR with the smaller sizing).
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
