Palmer park velodrome closure

Does anyone happen to know when Palmer Park velodrome is likely to re-open? The website says it's closed until they repair/replace the floodlighting but it doesn't give any indication of when that may be.

    Should be fixed by early October according to the PPV website..

    It is open again now. I think this will be the third week, I'm going to try it for the first time tomorrow evening.

    It's closed again, if anyone's interested.

    No sessions for the next six weeks.

    Yeah so I hear. Something to do with replacing the barriers isn't it?

    Should be open again for tomorrow nights session.

    All now open for winter Tuesday and Thursday open sessions, Track League in the spring etc.

    The replacement fencing took long than expected to be completed, and that was after the floodlights *finally* being finished. But at least its open now...

    I haven't been for a couple of weeks, but I've heard that it might be having to close again soon for further repairs!?

    Not that I've heard. There are a couple of poorly repaired patches of tarmac but they will be done during the day and shouldn't close the track. Do you have a source for the info about closure?
