As I'm increasing my mileage slowly I'm becoming more aware that at some point i may be visiited by the PF. Are cheap tubes worth having, or is this false economy. I know none of them are massively expensive but it could amount to an extra pint or 2 of reward

Inner tubes are inner tubes, more or less. I did use £10 Conti Supersonics since they're 50g lighter than standard, but otherwise most tubes are much the same. I also have a set of patches and glue to repair them, at £10 a pop its worth it! However have recently moved to tubeless so don't have this hassle any more.WyndyMilla Massive Attack | Rourke 953 | Condor Italia 531 Pro | Boardman CX Pro | DT Swiss RR440 Tubeless Wheels

Thanks everyone, and excuse the simpleton question. Just wanted to see what paying 3x as much got you. Seems weight saving like most - pay more get less0

Bought over 20 of the Planet X normal and lightweight tubes which are £2 a pop. Been using them for years, never had any issues.
