just sharing my current ride which i pimped up

(not a specialized) just my own version

original chrome 7005 aluminum frame(make unknown mid 90's) wit steal rigid forks

i wanted to bring back the old hardtail 1990's type mountain bike back wit my own twist, a chunky frame and mid range urban slick tyres and shiny stand out bling but done well not chavy

i stripped down bike so only original frame and forks are still used,i built the wheels wit blue anodized hubs
added carbon seat and lightweight aluminum stem
aluminum and anodized handlebar,headset,break levers,bar ends,
new shimano shifters and gears
added v brakes wit blue blocks
an old crank from a dumped bike
funky blue pedals
26 x 1.95 slick urban road tyres

anything that came anodized i would put on bike
anodized blue back lights,frog light on front

as i did this bike on a budget,i will be upgrading rear cassette to silver wit silver chain and shimano deore shifters, rear derailleur and new shiny crank when i got more cash,so it will look even more epic

this bike is a real head turner and i get many compliments from people when out riding it...

Each to their own, but why would you want to pass a bike off as a full sus Specialized when it isn't?

(And the word 'with' has an 'h' on the end.)

'sus' means suspension.
You have put FSR stickers on the bike. FSR is Specialized's rear suspension system.

It's a mountain bike with semi-slick tyres. I have two mountain bikes, one for off road and one for road. Does an off road 4x4 Landrover sease to be an off road vehicle if it has road tyres??

Anyway, I think he's done a good job of pimping up his "mountain bike".
