Venge Vias Recall

Has anyone else heard about the Specialised Venge Vias being recalled?
My LBS received an email from Spesh instructing them not to sell the rim brake version until further notice and to notify owners not to use theirs due to an issue with the rear wheel coming out?
I thought that they would have put something on their website to this affect but can't see anything.

So much for technological advances!0 -
Yeah, there has been a recall. A friend of mine in the US broke his 3 weeks ago. What is odd is that Specialized sent a new bike to the LBS but asked that they do not hand over until they decide what they are going to do. Check out the link below his LBS received:

Looks like they are recalling and replacing!! awaiting official confirmation from the US, but thats what my LBS have been told. I'll be having a Tarmac again!!0

I haven't seen the word recall from any official source. It's a voluntary stop sale. It may end up a recall but I'm still riding mine until I get told otherwise. And really a LBS is not really a credible source of info when it come to things like this. Specialized are really good at keeping things in house until they are ready to let the rest of us know0
