Any MIAS qualified Ride Leaders on here?

Hi All,
Are there any of you that have qualified as a Mountain Bike Leader (either level 1 or 2)?

If so could you answer a couple of questions for me please?

What are the courses like?
Any recommendations for a provider?
I'm a fairly confident rider and pretty handy with the spanners & trail side bodges.
How do you find leading groups?

My local council are looking for volunteers to lead groups to encourage cycling in the area.
I quite like the idea of spending more time on my bike and getting people out and about.
