    Seriously?

Below are some quotes, one set from the Visit Mid Wales website, one set from your 'blog'.

See if you can work out which is which. Google plagiarism.

"You’ll be riding over bedrock, negotiating loose rocky climbs and descents, swooping round berms..."

"You’ll be riding over bedrock, negotiating loose, rocky, climbs and descents, swooping round berms..."

"This is THE classic trail and still knocks spots off more modern offerings elsewhere. It’s rocky, it’s retro, it’s twisty, it’s technical, it’s fast and will eally test your skills and fitness."

"This Classic and Original trail still knocks spots of the more modern purpose built trail centre offerings with it’s technically challenging, twisty, rocky and fast flowing sections will really test your skill and fitness levels.."

I couldn't be bothered to read any more. Have you even ridden them?

And got permission to reproduce other peoples brochures?

  • Cooldad,

Since when has MTB terminology been "plagiarism"

    and

For your information it's me in the video so YES I have rode Coed Y Brenin trail

I also suggest you check out other sites and see if they also use the same sentence structure/terminology for a specific MTB trail

Similar terminology is one thing, copying word for word is another.

Trying to defend it - priceless as they say.

Don't do a degree in today's age with that argument. You would have breached academic integrity

  • Seriously, copying word for word is not writing a review, it's plagiarism. It's not just similar terminology, it's a straight rip off of someone else's work and claiming its your own. By all means quote someone else's work but credit them and ask their permission.
I'm writing a thesis at the moment and I can absolutely guarantee that if I put your review through the universitys plagiarism detection software it wouldn't just reject it, itd fall over and go up in smoke.

Fück me, you clearly just copied an existing work, with some very slight changes in wording, and then you have the gall (or are you just plain stupid?) to try to defend what you've done with Since when has MTB terminology been "plagiarism"? Seriously? No, this is not a case of people using "the same sentence structure/terminology", this is simply copying other people's work and passing it off as your own. Are you really suggesting that the similarities quoted by cooldad are mere coincidence and nothing more than people using the same structure and terminology? It's bad enough that you're so lazy you decided to rip someone off rather than putting the effort in yourself, but don't make it worse by treating everyone here as if you think they're stupid.

EDIT: Ah, so you've taken it down. Well, that's something, at least.
