Resin Vs Organic Resin Brake Pads

I need to replace a pair of Shimano B01S disc brake pads which I believe are resin. I could buy a pair of non-Shimano B01S pads that are cheaper and available in two types: just resin or organic resin. What's the difference?

    There shouldn't be a difference. I am not aware of a resin which is not organic. Generally you have organic, semimetallic and metallic (also called sintered). They go from soft to hard, so from more effective to more durable, from silent to noisy... I generally buy the semi
