Hi
I'm in the market for a new bike and I've decided to add a synapse to my collection.

I've narrowed my choice to these 2:

https://www.evanscycles.com/en-ie/cannondale-synapse-carbon-ultegra-3-disc-2017-road-bike-EV239405

https://www.evanscycles.com/en-ie/cannondale-synapse-carbon-ultegra-disc-2017-road-bike-EV280318

They also have the exact same price which is unusual (The first one looks like last years model renamed).

Which one is better?

Thanks

PaulE

  • Probably the one with hydraulic discs
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles
  • For pennies more you can go Ultegra Di2

I have this bike and can vouch for its comfort over 100 miles

I've got the non-disc ultegra model from 2015 (which is essentially the same as the current version) and will sum it up in one word - fantastic.

My only issue with the ones that you are looking at would be colour - just plain dislike that black/red and not over keen on the others either (but that's a very personal thing and you might feel differntly).
    Cannondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra
    Kinesis Racelight 4S
Specialized Allez Elite (Frame/Forks for sale)
Specialized Crosstrail Comp Disk (For sale)
  • The second one for paint job, the first for the chainset, the saddle and the carbon seatpost! Strange there are two versions of the same bike?

Actually, the photo shows on the second version, an FSA chainset, but the description gives a C'dale Hollowgram Si, which is the same as the other.

You are right about one being the 2016: http://www.wheelbase.co.uk/cannondale-s ... l?___SID=U
  • Get a 2016 model. Pretty much exactly the same spec but with big discounts. I just bought an ultegra di2 disc for £2250 from Drakes cycle. It's such a comfortable bike!
