Has anyone heard of DMD wheels?

A set of these were on the Lapierre Spicy when it was returned to me (instead of the XT it was stolen with). They look cheap and weak. A search on here suggests they might be Carrera brand wheels in one post. Has anyone heard of them?

    Carrera are DDW (often written as MDD having been read upside down!) and made by formula, those are not them.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
