Geometry noob - Boardman HT Comp Vs Carrera Fury

Having suggested to my better half to buy a Carrera Fury or Boardman Comp (to match my Fury), we've ended up with a Comp as it became available first. They're both the white version circa 2011. The only thing is, my Fury is substantially more comfortable to ride with much less weight on her wrists/arms. The previous owner had already added a shorter stem (Specialized. Stats not known). The bar is at the top of the spacers already. I'm pretty new to geometry, but is there anything we can do to make it similar to my Fury or are we stuck with the XC position?

If you wanted a higher bar position, then could try a stem with more angle, or a riser bar with more rise - or both.
