Not sure why garmin software is deemed crap, but just select the course and click 'send to device'
Sync using garmin expressI'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -

Not for me it isn't. Ridewithgps is very easy to plot a route without any additional software or plugins installed. Downloading and copying the gpx file takes seconds.WyndyMilla Massive Attack | Rourke 953 | Condor Italia 531 Pro | Boardman CX Pro | DT Swiss RR440 Tubeless Wheels

Do you get the sync message or just nothing once you've clicked done?I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -

The button went blue and then nothing at all (ie no sync message). I have an SD card in the 810 with OSM maps on it - not sure if that matters?0 -

Yes, I used to do that.
I'm at work, plotted a course for a longer ride back home but our PC's are locked down so can't use USB, hence trying to Bluetooth over from phone instead....otherwise I'd just copy it over locally0 -
Have you tried turning Bluetooth off and on again on the device to force it to reconnect? I don't know anything about the iPhone app, so can't help on that side. Can you force that to close completely and restart?0
