The chance for a week away in Morzine has come up starting next week, I'm assuming it may be pretty chilly at the top of some of the climbs there, compared when I usually go to France in high summer. Currently planning on taking S/S gabba plus arm warmers/ thin montane cape and will purchase some leg warmers, but is there a middling autumn/winter jacket people would suggest in case its chillier still up high. Thinking something along the lines of Sportful Fiandre/ something more castelli/ Rapha? Any recommendations that could then be used into Autumn/Winter here?

Thanks

Sportful Fiandre light vest/gilet is nice. Decent level of wind and rain protection but will pack down into a jersey pocket.
  • I used a Sportful Fiandre no-rain rain light jacket (the one with a zip for the rear pockets access) and it was very useful. Doesn't weigh much and stops the wind chill
