Shimano MT35 rims - tubeless compatible??

I'm considering converting my wheels to tubeless and wondered if anyone could let me know whether my Shimano MT35 rims are compatible. The reason I ask is that they appear to have a few small holes through the side walls (to let water out?).

Can't see the pics (probably my Co. firewall) but in a tubeless the tyre seals to the rim tape, so holes in the wheel sidewall would have no effect.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
