Hybrid for commuting

Hey!
Moved jobs and now closer to home, what hybrid would people recommend for the below:
5 miles each way
Mixed terrain (smooth roads, bumpy tow paths)
£500
Possibly front suspension (if budget allows)
Riding all year round
I'm looking to get one from Evans or decathlon (the latter doesn't however seem to have disc brakes on suitable bikes?), they're local and on my cycle to work scheme
Look forward to recommendations
Thanks
Dean

Decathlon do a decent fast road hybrid, but none with disc brakes.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

This Spesh is pretty well specced at the price

Also have a look at the Voodoo Marasa at Halfords, much cheaper and pretty well specced, tyres are a bit heavy but the rest is superb value.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
2 of the ones I'd been looking at (by sheer chance) were the specialised and voodo, think the former will win due to the fact I can get it on my cycle to work scheme... Thanks guys!0
