About this time last year I bought a set of front and rear brakes (levers, filled hoses, calipers incl pads) from CRC for £32.99. Should have bought two set as I've got another family bike that I now want to stick on the same setup so that we only have to stock one set of pads, and because they have been no trouble at all to use.
Cheapest I've found for equivalent at the moment though is about £55.
Anyone got any pointers to somewhere that might have these under £40 or did I miss a trick by not buying two sets at the time?
(They are sometimes referred to as Acera M396 and sometimes as M395, I think 396 is the caliper, 395 is the lever but that might be the wrong way around).

Use Shimano pads.

Some of CRC's best offers seem to have disappeared since the takeover - I blame Wiggle.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Cheers, wasn't sure where the "315" series stood against the 395s etc.
Didn't realise the Clarks ones used the same pads, might be worth a look.
Good to see Wiggle getting blamed.2015 Canyon Nerve AL 6.0 (son #1's)
