Seems you can now tune your bike wirelessly with an Ipad....

Shimano has addressed the lack of software for Macs and is releasing a version of Etube for the Ipad. Hooray!

BUT! You have to have the wireless sender installed, BUT it has to be the new one, the EWWU101, and not the EWW01 that I have (which has no Bluetooth functionality).

And I'm not sure but you might have to change your internal battery too, as it seems there is a new one.

So if you do want to to able to tinker with your shifters wirelessly from your Ipad, this could be for you!

LOL! Well don't count on me, pal, I'm all videoed out for the time being! And I don't really get it myself anyway...
  • I was slightly gobsmacked there was no software for OS X

Tell me about it - I did the tour of my LBS's asking if I could plug my bike into their PC, and none of them were able / had the time to help.

So off to a mate's house, bike in his living room, to use his PC to get my shifter buttons changed round, and shifting set to 'Fast' (from 'Normal').
