TRP HY/RD

I currently have a Kinesis 4S disc with Campagnolo Athena and TRP HY/RD brakes. There is too much lever pull and I have had my local bike shop try various set ups to lessen the pull but to no avail.
I'm wondering if TRP Spyre brakes would be a better solution or changing the groupset to either Shimano 105 5800 or SRAM Rival 22 and keeping the existing HY/RD brakes. Which groupset works best with HY/RD??

You need to fit Jagwire Road PRO XL (the cycleclinic have them), which are compressionless cables specific for disc brakes. Difference is day and night... although the pull will still be a bit longer than rim brakes, but more in line with hydraulic pull like the Shimano 785.left the forum March 20230
