Can I use a longer bottom bracket?

Hey all, my bike has a Shimano UN26 123mm and I intended changing it for a UN55 122.5.

However I have received my order today and they have sent me a 127mm in error :cry:

Would there be any adverse effects of using this or should I seek a replacement??

    Its only 2mm either side so may work but It could affect your chainline which may be be less than perfect (assuming it was good before). More of an issue would be that it affects your front shifting due the the outer chainring now being beyond the max reach of the front mech. Only way to know for sure is fit it and see.
