I've got a Planet X London Road that is used as winter/commuter road bike, however it was bought in mind of the fact it's a bit of a do it all and I could stick on CX tryes if I wanted to venture off road.

Have an event coming up that I've committed to which is on loose stone/gravel bridleway's - could anyone suggest some cheapish tyres that would be suitable?

Cheers

To save everyone repeating themselves, check out the "CX Tyres" thread; it's currently about 3 topics below this one.
    Pannier, 120rpm.

You dont need CX tyres for that. Get some Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres. Bombproof.

Cheers TGOTB, didn't even look if I'm honest!

Want CX tyres as I plan on doing a bit more after this event where Marathon's won't suffice.
