shimano xt br-m8000 Issues

Hi,
Just wondered if anyone else has had issues with the m8000 xt brakes, there a few months old and just feel spongy, no modulation just on or off.
I've taken them back and had them bled Which improved them a little but not much.
My older slx m675 feel nicer and better modulation.
If anyone's had similar issues did u rectify them?
