Hi,
I'm having a problem with the X12. The axle has become stuck in the frame the reason for this won't be known until it is out. I've had looked at which has now left a bolt extractor broken in the head. Tomorrow the bike goes into an engineer to try and remove the axle through putting a thread into the other end and trying to put a bolt in to turn the axle. If that fails its on a milling machine.
As the x12 is integrated with the frame, are there alternatives as it seems mad that frame would effectively be scrap for a £30 part.
The axle was put in to the correct torq 2 weeks ago and when the bolt extractor was put in the axle did turn approx 1/4 of a turn.
From the hex rounding the work has been done by engineers so really I'm asking if there is an alternative or retro fit which can be made should the only way to remove the axle be to drill it out.
Sorry if the info is sketchy, I have close to zero engineering knowledge and am trying to put together the various pieces of information I've been given over the weekend.

aluminum corrosion is one reason for the axle to stuck, it happened to me on a rs fork, in the worst case scenario cut it, and replace the chainstays,
lets hope they will manage to remove it without wrecking the rear end“I am a humanist, which means, in part, that I have tried to behave decently without expectations of rewards or punishments after I am dead.”

I meant drill it out, not cut the chain stays“I am a humanist, which means, in part, that I have tried to behave decently without expectations of rewards or punishments after I am dead.”
