Best road bike light for dark lanes?

What's best out of the current crop?
I'm looking for a powerful rechargeable front lamp good for 3-4 hours at a useful illumination level
Suitable to see ahead on dark lanes cycling fast but with a beam pattern suitable for roads, ie not dazzling oncoming cars causing them to crash like some of the MTB lamps, possibly with a dip switch?
And of course not to heavy
Thanks

Strada 6 meets those requirements, pricey and takes a long time to charge but is very very good.0

is cheap at the moment, and, for me, produces a good beam pattern that's not anti socialMy blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
