Hi there

I am about to buy a bike when i realised something... there is a hole drilled into the frame so that an
internally routed dropper post could be run, i think it was DIY project done by previous owner, its on the seat tube...
Does it compromise the structural integrity of the bike and is it a no go?

Thanks, any feedback would be greatly appreciated...

    What bike is it?
Maybe it is a DIY drilling, maybe not.

  • It's definitely not an original hole. Seems odd considering the bike pedals like crap. Not really a bike to fit a dropper post.
    Personally I wouldn't touch it.
