I have a 810 and a virb elite camera which I is suddenly playing me up. When I've been on a ride I up the ride stats using the bluetooth on my phone and then upload any rides from my camera (virb elite) that I want to keep or look at up to the PC via the virb edit program on my PC.
Up till late all the stats are embedded in the video on the right and still all bar one, the speed which is just showing as "0". the Speed records and uploads to garmin connect online account and to my strava account but doesn't show in the video embedded. The GPS and heart rate all show up fine.
How do I get the speed back on to the videos ?

I've found the GPX data on the camera not as accurate as off my 810 so use the GPX file off the 810 when creating a video with overlay in Virb Edit. It takes a little longer as you have to sync the map with the video.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Is your Virb using GPS for speed or listening to a speed/cadence sensor? I used the latter for a while, and started seeing the same problem as you have. Once I switched it back to GPS, everything was okay.
I also saw this problem when manually deleting video files from the Virb. The videos and GPX data seemed to go out of sync, and speed data was one of the casualties. I fixed this by only deleting (automatically) after exporting every video.0
