Looking at doing an overnight stop and riding Afan / Cwmcarn over the 2 days. Anyone have any recommendations for accommodation for 5 people / bike safe / friendly (with beer).

They have camping pods at Cwmcarn. Basic, but they have electricity and a heater.
Hiring a couple of them is an option.

These are the camping pods. Parking just in front and they also have bike lockers over the road from the pods so you can make sure your bikes are safe.

I've stayed here, good food, sell beer. Right on the trails. Decent bike park on the site aswell.

  • Awesome guys - thanks (we've booked these). Cheers for the note re: they sell beer, are there any pubs nearby too (ie walking or riding distance?)

    Cheers again
