Bolt within a bolt
I want to attach a device (actually stabilisers) to some rear wheels, and they're fixed by an extra nut on the rear axle.
Is there such a thing as a rear axle extender? Rather than go through the bother of putting in a new (longer) axle, is there a 'bolt within a bolt', so you screw that onto the existing axle, and end up with an 'extension'?
Or am I over-complicating matters?!
Thanks.
Allen.

Well I did what I should have done in the first place and Googled!
Several versions around. I went for the Adie 3/8 axle extender, only £2.69 from Evans (the same thing on Amazon being nigh on ten quid with delivery!).

Let us know when you finally decide to take your stabilisers off ;-p0
