Hi All.

Just bought my son a 2012 Nukeproof Mega AM pro fitted with RockShox Lyrik RC2 DH SoloAir, 160mm Travel, Tapered Steerer, Maxle Lite 20mm Axle ( info off CRC web site )the fella I bought of said the forks are air and coil damped, I've seen coil springs for the Lyrick advertised from extra soft to hard, but I can't see anything about the coil spring for this bike/suspension.

Anyone know if this fork runs both and if so where is the coil spring located so I can check which colour/ strength spring is in the forks, looking at the forks on the bike all the adjusters are the same as this article. http://www.sicklines.com/2012/02/08/201 ... 70mm-fork/

The fella bought the bike new in 2013 off CRC http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/nuke ... -prod75657

I think that's an air fork, not coil.

solo air indicates it's air only, it has a valve cap on top of the left leg indicates 'air' thats the spring

A lot of RC2DH Lyriks got converted to coil and they are absolutely awesome forks. Best fork I've owned, better than my RCT3 Pike.
