help with bottom bracket tools

I have another double ended bottom bracket spanner which fits BB30 and again the old HTII cups.
The new shimano HT-II are smaller (6800 / 5800) and come with an adapter, which I assumed fits between the BB cups and the tool... however, they don't.
Anyone know where I am going wrong, or know of a tool which fits?

£22 for a tool! What a complete joke!
I'm tempted to just keep on buying old style BB's0
