Hi,
I bought one of these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/smart-rl317r-1w-1-superflash-led-rear-light/rp-prod138969?gs=1&gclid=CJPe3cy6184CFdVAGwodEkkD4g&gclsrc=aw.ds for my Defy 1. I intended to mount it on the seat post but the bracket isn't sufficient and i've had to use the seatstay which just doesn't look right.
Any thoughts on alternative mounts?

Good light that one - this might work - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qENcdXuwzOo0

Had one of those a good few years ago, some saddle bags have a webbed loop that you can clip it on to. Might be a option.0

I put mine through the loop on my Topeak saddle bag, great rear light, mounting not the most versatile.0

If you find a rear reflector from a new bike (ask at your friendly lbs maybe) you might be able to swap the bracket over...looks like one of those with "teeth" that mesh together.0

I made a mount for one of those for a Fizik saddle using the click mount from a seat bag that had broken. But that only works if your circumstances are the same as mine!
One thing that might work is to take the larger of the mounts and cut it in two. Then mount it using O-rings. I'd assume that it would clip in place reasonably firmly with the bungees just stopping it from slipping.Faster than a tent.......0
