Would anybody happen to have a GPS file route I could follow from Lille to say Oudenarde whilst taking in a few of the famous 'bergs? Much appreciated

You won't need a GPS route really. Once you are in Belgium you can just follow a route based on marked, numbered way-points. Get a cycle route map, write down the numbers on a piece of tape and put on your extension. This will keep you off the bigger, busier roads as well. In case you aren't aware, it's compulsory to use the bike path if there is one.

I'll PM you some strava links, though we did get a little lost around the bottom of the Molenberg due to the road works (they'd completely dug it up) which resulted in some detours including across a field.

The Cycling Museum in Oudenaarde has a great booklet with a number of routes outlined which we found pretty helpful.
