Painting advice
So on thurs I decided to spruce up my commuter road bike. I totally stripped it down to the frame gave the old paint a good scrub with coarse then fine sandpaper, I applied the primer and colour and left to dry over night. The following day I did several coats of acrylic spray lacquer and left to dry. It has now been around 36 hours since the last coat of lacquer went on. The frame is dry and I can pick it up without causing marks but it feels soft when pressing with my fingernail.
Can someone advise how long I have to wait before its ready for the road and will be ready for water etc? I painted a frame some time ago and left that 2 days before riding but it got wet from rain and left weird white spots everywhere so I know it will take a while longer just wondering if it would be safe to use say next Sunday.
