hello, i am looking at spending about £400 on a set of wheels which i would deem for best. i have narrowed down to two options i like the look of. hunt race aero wide and ira jawbones. i would really like anyone with either set, let me know how they found them or if anyone thinks one set is obviously better then the other! I'm heading towards th shunt wheels but i have ordered wheels from jra before so feel comfortable dealing with them.

cheers

I've got a set of the JRA wheels, really happy with them they are on my winter bike so get lots of use.
    Running 28mm GP4000 II's which come out about 32mm.

I have the hunt wheels you are looking at. Cant fault them on anything.. good price, lightweight and well built. came with a nice bag of spare if needed also. spokes etc.. :)
  • I've got a set of the jawbone lite wheels. the rear wheel with 24 spokes is too flexy under any sprint or climb out of the saddle. i think the jawbone with 28 spokes would be ok
