Halfords BC discount card

Admittedly I'm being tight here. Anyone used someone else's British Cycling discount card at Halfords to get 10% off? I note the name is printed on back of card but, if i take up the 12 months credit then they're obviously going to want my name for this which wouldn't tie in with card. Not really got time to purchase my own card/membership as it looks like Halfords current 20% off deal ends tomorrow.

    They never asked to see my card, so you may be lucky if you flash it.

    My friend borrowed mine and they didn't even ask to look at it...
