Hi guys,
I have Fuji Nevada 1.6 with hydraulic disk brakes. I want to change brake levers to colored levers(only levers, not whole brake system). Can I do it? And how?
And also, can I use levers from mechanical brakes for this "project"? Thanks!

So what make and model of brakes are fitted?

The only thing you can do is remove the brake lever blade (if that's possible on whatever brakes you have) and get it painted (low durability), powder coated or anodised.

No you can't use lever blades from a cable lever, you certainly can't use the whole lever assembly as it has no reservoir or cylinder or means of attaching a hose!

Note a 'lever' is taken as the whole body, the part you pull is usually referred to as the lever blade.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Use some of your nail polish, then you'll match up.
