Sanding / melting saddle seam lines.

I recently purchased a Women's Selle SMP TRK and the molding lines/seam lines are rather sharp/long. After riding the seat a short 4miles I noticed the seam riding in my thighs, once I got home it seemed like rubber bands where rapped around my inner thinghs for 30min or so. Considering it's on the cheap side 59$, a 27$ bell saddle had better finish.

I tried contacting selle smp maybe a counterfeit amazon item? But seems there on vacation. Is it possible to sand down pleather seam lines or should I wait for selle SMP to come back to ask them or return the item to amazon?

Or maybe there's a better way of removing/making them seam lines less painful?

don't sand or melt unless you want to risk the saddle falling apart. you might make things worse.

change the saddle. get one with no seams.

Send or take it back to where you bought it from.
