Sudden bib short problems

Bit odd this, I've got three pairs of bib shorts that have been well loved and are maybe 2-3 years old. Over the last few months I found that on all of them the pad seems too far back and I keep wanting to adjust them to get the right part of the pad over my sit bones. Perhaps it's down to a change in saddle in January and a slight difference in riding position. Perhaps it's down to shrinkage or stretch. Any ideas?

The shorts are Castelli Velocissimo L, Gore Power 3.0 ?XL, Chappeau Pave L, if that makes any difference.

If you think that the size may be too large or two small then let me know: it'll help me size replacements.

Cheers.

2-3 years old may be your answer.
I have a a couple of favourite pairs, which generally means lots of use & ultimately they just eventually wear to the point that they don't fit like they did when they were new. Into the commuting pile with it & off we go to buy new kit is generally my answer to this particular "problem"

    Have you lost weight?

Are you thinking about it too much ? It'd be weird if alll of a sudden all 3 pairs had worn out.

Ptest has a good point too. That would account for them fitting weirdly.

It's probably a combination of weight loss, the short material thinning in use and losing it's support and the pad/insert compressing.

Depending on usage and how the shorts have been washed, Parentini advise to replace shorts after 2 years.

This could be a very severe problem and as the UK Castelli bib short distributor , I may have to inform the wholesalers with a customer recall notice.
