Is this a good bike bag? I notice it has no handles on the exterior and wonder how baggage handlers, including myself, would manage?

I had one. Used it for my Maratona trip this year. It was pretty good. Pluses are that you don't have to dismantle the bike to pack it. Just whip the wheels off. I also used quite a bit of bubble wrap and pipe lagging. I had no issues in transit. You can also fit quite a lot of your gear in the bag too. Negatives were that it developed a tear near the zip so I sent it back to Wiggle and got a refund. At half the price of a BBA I think its good for occasional use. If you are going to uses 3+ times a year, I'd get a hard shell.
