I recently posted on Gumtree, instantly got a reply saying consider it sold.
Great I think, then as many of you will have probably experienced he was ill/handicapped buying for someone else and wanted it posted to Nigeria.
Insisted on paypal and sent more money than asked for but I needed to pay £270 on money gram to complete the paypal which I received a 98% completion email that looked pretty convincing.
Needless to say this is a very clever if obvious phishing scam so don't get sucked in, I didn't but the communications all look genuine so be careful out there.

And paypal are very good at refunding the buyer, so seller ends up with no goods and no money.WyndyMilla Massive Attack | Rourke 953 | Condor Italia 531 Pro | Boardman CX Pro | DT Swiss RR440 Tubeless Wheels
