Hello,
Need some advise. I am rebuilding a 2011 Trek Top Fuel 9.9 SSL, I am not an expert but wanted to learn in the process.
I am replacing the crank and purchased the Shimano XTR FC-M985, which was the trek spec model for the bike. I just realized that the older crank (which was a Trivativ) has Press-Fit bearings. Is this the way the 2011 Trek top Fuel 9.9 was shipped for factory? How do I installed the FC-M985, which comes with external bearings?. Appreciate your help!
