Training tights for tall skinny build

I'm 178cm (5'11") and 66kg (145lbs), and I have problems finding winter Roubaix tights that are long enough in the leg without being far too big around the waist and arse and legs. I tried some Pearl Izumi in a shop the other day, and needed an XXL for sufficient length, whereas an M was about right for a good fit laterally but about three inches too short in the leg.

Any recommendations for a brand I can try that gets closer to my dimensions?

I'd suggest you try Sportful. I have a pair of the Grupetto and a pair of the R&D bibs.

Both are long enough for me at 6'4", 12 stone in size large. Sounds like medium could be just the job for you.

Also most places seem to be doing 20% off Sportful at the moment.

Castelli would be my suggestion as well. They tend to come up tighter.

DHB - got a pair of their Vaeon Roubaix bibtights last winter, plenty long enough in the leg. For reference, I'm 6'0, 67kg, 33" inside leg and went for a small.

Also, free returns with Wiggle, so you can order a couple of sizes if you're unsure and just return the ones that don't fit.

Castelli should work well. My club kit is Castelli and I have to order to some huge sizes in bibs and tights for my larger build. The slim chaps have no issues. The Nanoflex tights are excellent by the way and on sale in a few places at the moment.
