Hi guys,
recenty I bought new Fuji Nevada 1.9 (29"). Bike is great, except front breaks. When I press harder front break, I hear weird sounds. I don't mean on scratch sound or something silimar. Sound I can hear is more like some liquid.
This is my frist bike with hydraulic breaks. With rear breaks I don't have any problem, weird sounds etc...
I made video, listen sound on 2nd break. Also, whole front part is shaking and vibrating during brakeing.
I don't Know is this the problem.

I think he was referring to the spelling...

    Brakes.

I know nothing about disc brakes, well not on bikes anyway. Good luck
  • Yes, brakes, not breaks. Sorry. So nobody doesn't Know why, and how to fix it?

They do make funny noises sometimes, but shouldn't shake or vibrate - have you checked that everything is tight.

I'm not prepared to watch a 3 minute video of you riding around at night. Trim the video, repost and I might watch it to listen out for a weird noise.

Yes. I tried with locked forks, same problem. Rotor is flat(it shoudn't be distorted, bike has three weeks). Rear rotor is smaller than front. Front tire is secured. I don't Know what can be.

@Kickaxe - You don't need to watch whole video. You can stop video after second braking, it's less than minute.

    Loose caliper?
    Loose rotor?
Or more likely, loose headset so the whole front end will judder.

It seems everything is okey. I don't understand what you want to say with headset. On what part you mean?

It could be that you have contaminated your rotor/disk, use some isopropyl alcohol to thoroughly clean the disks, soak the pads in it as well and then sand a very thin layer off the pads, then break them in by braking repeatedly several (20+) times.

  • I'm not sure, maybe that will solve the problem. But, the problem exists from 1st day.

Take it back to the shop and tell them to fix it.
