Internal Cable Routing Help

I am changing the brake and gear cables on my Tarmac and have hit a snag. I have managed to pull the rear gear cable through to the chain stay using a piece of fishing line I dragged through when taking the old cable out. However, on trying to get it out of the final hole, the fishing line pinged off the cable and now I can't get the damn thing to come out of the hole. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this can be done?! I'm going mad with random stabbing of the cable!
