Cycle Shoes with a wide fit

Due foot related issues, I am no longer able to wear my beloved Sidi's (as they are too narrow).
Can anyone out there recommend a make of shoe that does a wider fit, the guy at my local bike shop mentioned Lake,
but there must be others. Many thanks for your help.

Sidi do a wide fit, they call it 'mega'. Shimano do too, I'm sure there are others but those are the ones off the top of my head.0

Bont do wide fit too. I tried the Megas, but for me found that it also increased the size of the heel cup too.0

I went to Lake from Specialized, a bit more width in the front but not with masses of vertical volume that wouldn't be needed for me. Northwave that I have tried have that vertical volume too, sort of for fat b*stard feet if you like. Lake were a cinderella shoe for me.0

I found that Shimano wide-fit shoes weren't much different from their normal fit. I'm currently using
LG (Louis Garneau) shoes. They're plenty wide for me.0 -
Same as above, I went from Spesh/shimano/northwave to Lake for road shoes.

Mavic do wide fit but you need to size up for length IME.0

Bont wide fit me well, had S-Works before but found the toe box too cramped.
That said the 2016 version reportedly has a bigger toe box.Colnago Master Olympic

Folks....
Many thanks for the advice, now all I have to do is convince the 'war office' that I need another pair of shoes!0 -
