On the hunt for some aero wheels for my Tarmac, and after a lot of looking around think I am settled on one of these. Hoping to spend as little over £500 as possible really, and these are both around £550. Does anyone have experience of one or both sets of wheels, and offer any insight into how they compare? From what I can see they seem very similar other than the spoke pattern.

If anyone has any other suggestions that would also be welcome.

  • I've always been a fan of Campagnolo wheels. I have/had a pair of Bullet 50 ultras. Really fantastic wheels imho. At least until a rear blow out ended up trashing the rim :-( But they were really superb to ride.

Have you seen Bender's review of the Bax carbon wheels?

That is very interesting. I've been looking at Zuus wheels too and hadn't heard of Bax. They do look very nice, and that review seems pretty good
