Beginner, sort of not beginner

Evening all,
So I'm sort of new to all of this, what I mean is I have ridden a bike on trails like Hamsterly Forest and Chopwell Forest before. But now I'm in proper employment I've been able to buy a nice bike to ride around the Chase, even if I've had 5/6 years without so much as looking at a bike.
So does anyone have any advice for me in terms of trails around (West Mids area, or Mids area), and maybe any groups who don't mind new members who are fantastically slow and unfit?

I was told to look on chase trails on Facebook by another member on here I'm on the hunt aswel if you do find anythin as I'm tryin go once a week after work if you fancied it0
